After reading this particular advertisement, I was just wondering that when did Govinda have his last hit? Any guesses? It was way back in the year 1999 and the movie was Haseena Maan Jaayegi which was also directed by David Dhawan and Govinda’s co-stars were Sanjay Dutt, Karisma Kapoor, Pooja Batra, Anupam Kher, Kader Khan and Aruna Irani. After that he had string of flops, 22 to be precise. Without a doubt one can say that Govinda has come back with a bang. I am not sure if Bhaagam Bhaag can be credited as a hit under Govinda’s filmography because he had a very limited role to play. I thought he excelled in that limited role as well.

for your kind information Haseena Maan Jaayegi wz not Govinda's last hit b4 Partner. His last Hit was Ek Aur Ek Gyarah (2003) and b4 tht it was Jodi No.1 (2001). Even Hadh Kar Dii Aapne (2000), Joru Ka Ghulam (2000) and Kunwara (2000) were Above Average to Hit.

Unfortunately, I beg to differ with you. All the films mentioned by you were damp squibs. I am not sure what yardstick do you use to ascertain whether the movie was a hit or flop. I would typically take into account the box office collections when the movie is released and the popularity of the film with the masses.
