The shortlist prior to the nomination of the final five nominations in the Best Foreign Film Category for the Oscar Awards were announced today and Rang De Basanti is not in the list. But, it was heartening to know that Deepa Mehta's Water was shortlisted in the nine films that would compete for the final five spots in the Best Foreign Film Category for the Oscar Awards. However, Deepa Mehta's Water is a Canadian nomination.
Tough luck for the nominations Rakyesh Mehra but great film nonetheless!!!
