Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - Javed Akhtar

For Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan Johar had originally approached Javed Akhtar to write the lyrics. However, Javed Akhtar refrained from accepting it as he felt the title of the movie was not in good taste. Eventually, the lyrics were written by Sameer. The music of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai went on to become a huge hit and the film was an even bigger hit.
