Remakes of Old Classics

For the past few years, it has been a season of remakes of old classics in Bollywood. I am not sure if this signifies a creative bankruptcy of ideas / stories with the writers in Bollywood or is it just plain good business sense to churn old hits into stylized movies of today. Or is it just another way of ensuring a hit as these films were blockbusters when they were released the first time around.

Does anybody think that our writers in Bollywood have ran out of ideas to write for Hindi films?
