Has anybody seen the trailer of Vishal Bharadwaj's "Omkara"? I thought the movie looks pretty interesting and intriguing and is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Othello. The star cast of "Omkara" is very interesting. It's got Ajay Devgan in the main lead as Omkara alongwith Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Konkona Sen Sharma and (my favourite actor) Naseeruddin Shah. The music is by Vishal Bharadwaj himself.
Vishal Bharadwaj's earlier outing Maqabool (which was an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth) was also mindblowing. I think Pankaj Kapur and Irfan Khan really gave the performance of their lives.
Anybody seen the trailer of Omkara? Any views?
